| We have some fantastic news for you all! From Thursday 8th of July we’re starting up small peer support groups at the Centre! Each Thursday there will be 2 mixed groups, one at 11am-12pm and one from 1.30pm-2.30pm. On a Friday there will be 2 Gentlemen’s groups, again, one at 11am-12pm and one at 1.30pm-2.30pm. The groups will be limited to 5 people attending and you will need to pre-book your slot over the telephone. Please only attend if you have a confirmed booking as we won’t be able to welcome you in if not. We are asking for you to do a lateral flow COVID test at home on the morning of your chosen meeting and masks must be worn throughout unless you have medical exemption. We will welcome you at the door where we will do a temperature check and ask if you have completed your test & have a negative result. There will be sanitiser at the door and available throughout the area. As availability is limited we will do our very best to accommodate those wishing to attend. Please ring yourself to book your space as we will not be able to reserve spaces for others. We understand this is not our usual practice and thank you for your patience and understanding while we adjust to this way of working. Phone lines will be open from 10am on Monday morning. From Wednesday 7th July we are also offering pre-bookable listening slots at the Centre each Wednesday. These appointments are for those who feel they would benefit from listening support for cancer related reasons. If you’d like to come in and chat to a member of staff face to face you can telephone the Centre and book an appointment. As with the group sessions we ask that you complete a lateral flow COVID test before attending and wear a mask unless you are medically exempt. |
