How to donate to The Centre

There are four different ways to make a donation to support the work of The Centre:

Option 1 – Call the centre on 0151 423 5730 to make an appointment to come in, a receipt and thank you letter will be provided

Option 2 – Donate online using the Give as you live donate button further down this page.  You can also opt to set up a monthly direct debit to support our work on a regular basis using the the donate button.

Option 3 – Make a donation directly into our Lloyds account: Account name – Halton Cancer Support Group. Sort code – 775112. Account number – 52092760.  If you wish to remain anonymous we will receive just the donation into the account. If you would like confirmation of payment, a receipt and to be able to gift-aid the donation please email info@haltoncancersupport.org.uk

Option 4 – Donate via Facebook.  You can now set up a Facebook fundraiser for The Centre.  We have been confirmed as a legitimate nonprofit by Facebook, this means that you can make one off donations and set up fundraisers (in memory or for birthdays etc.) through your Facebook page and using PayPal (a safer way to donate).  Just go to your Facebook page and begin to write a status, the drop down menu will give you the option to support a nonprofit, you’ll find us listed there.  If you have any problems call in or give us a ring and we can point you in the right direction.

We are very fortunate to receive grants from Cheshire & Merseyside Health and Care Partnership and Halton Borough Council – Public Health, which fund a large proportion of the work we do.  We are also supported by local business, Widnes Martial Arts who work hard to raise awareness and funds for our work. We also receive donations from service users and their families and friends. There are sponsored activities such as raffles, coffee mornings and various creative methods of fundraising carried out by staff, volunteers and service users which enable us to provide our services.
