Earlier this year, more than 2800 residents of Cheshire and Merseyside, including almost 300 from Halton, shared their views on what matters to them in local NHS and care services. Some of our centre users were involved in this consultation process. The results showed that the people of Halton would like:
• Access to the help and treatment they need when they want it
• Easier access to GP appointments and more GPs
• Specialist cancer services provided locally rather than having to travel for treatment
• Improvement in waiting times to access support for Mental Health
• The ability to be able to stay in their own home for as long as it was safe to do so
• Technology and online services to be more user friendly
